Well, we did it!
After a great build and a great meal, we are happy to show off a timelapse from the picnic table build of the Durham Festival WORLD’S LONGEST PICNIC TABLE! The 448.2ft record was made official today during the Durham Harvest Picnic by Guinness World Records!
We are so honored to have had such amazing volunteers during this build process, THANK YOU Habitat for Humanity Durham Inc. (Ontario, Canada) for coordinating such great hardworking people! Makita Tools for lending all our tools and Regional Municipality of Durham for donating the lumber!
This is definitely one of the most interesting things we’ve built so far!
