Roses are Red (…and then what?)

Happy Almost Valentines!

If you fall into the lucky group of people who will be receiving flowers tomorrow, you may run into the same problem I have…
What do you do after you take the cellophane off?
Well after many occasions of just stripping it off and plopping them into a vase, I have found some of my favorite ways to arrange and make the most out of your lovely floral gift.
First you may need some tools, for trimming and holding your flowers. Wires, floral foam, gloves, pins are all possible things that can make your floral arranging a little bit easier.
Next you need to decide what your style is. Are you fresh and sophisticated? or perhaps a little more unstructured and eclectic? Either way there are some amazing ways to display.
These examples are classic and sweet, whether you do them with soft pastels or bright vibrant blooms. Simple vases or tied bouquets are an elegant way to showcase the loveliness of the flowers themselves.
These ones are my personal favorite. Still sweet, but a little bit more eclectic, tea roses loosely arranged in a square vase show an effortless beauty. Try mixing up the vases to better coordinate with your existing decor.
This arrangement pulls in the rustic charm of mason jars, with a fresh picked look. Pairs great with that fresh from the garden feel, especially in a more modest area.
No matter which way you pair them, if you are lucky enough to be someone’s sweetheart, they will seem like the most beautiful flowers! (and who says you can’t be your own sweetheart? Spoil yourself, you deserve it)
So we hope you all have a wonderful Love Day! Filled with friendship and happiness, and hopefully flowers and chocolate.
